Polyrhythmicity: Foundations of African Philosophy , by Kofi Kissi Dompere, a Professor of mathematical economics at Howard University, has won this year’s Diop Conference award for
Best Scholarly Work. In choosing the book, which we published in March this year, the award committee wrote to the author: “I want to inform you that the committee for awards at the Diop Conference has selected your book to receive the highest honor among scholars this year. You have written a great book and the intellectuals in our field believe that you should be very proud of Polyrhythmicity.” The award is sponsored by
